Treehaus Quest 3D — Game Guide

Overview

Treehaus Quest 3D is a family adventure set in a small grove of family treehouses. Start as a human trainer, explore, battle and catch animals, and earn stamps from each family stop.

Your goal

Visit the family stops, earn all 9 stamps, catch all 8 wild animals and finish the main quest. After that the grove opens up: secret dungeon, Big Panda, space, the sea, pod racing and — new — the Architect and Build World.

Starting out

Type a name on the start screen and press Start. Your first companion animal walks with you. Step into Treehaus Home first, then explore. Ask Dong Xun any time for your next clue.

Healing

If you are Injured, sleep in the bed at Treehaus Home or visit Nurse Cristal at the Hospital.

Weather and time

Days move from morning to night. Expect clear skies, light rain, thunderstorms, tornadoes and blinding sun flares. Rain can make the pond grow.

Controls

Keyboard on desktop. On phones and tablets, on-screen buttons appear for each mode.

In the grove

Battles

Pick a move card each turn. Lower a wild animal below about 10% HP, then throw a Berry Ball to catch it.

First-person view New

As the Red Panda, press T. W/↑ walk forward, A/D turn, S turn around, drag to look. Press T again to go back to the normal camera.

X-Wing

W/S pitch, A/D turn, Q/E roll, Shift boost, Space/V fire, H hyperspace, P return to the grove. Hold F to charge a blast (5 s / 10 s).

Panda Submarine

Arrows/WASD to swim, Q/E up and down, Space sonar, O back to the boat, P surface.

Pod race

W throttle, A/D steer, Shift boost. R rematch, P back.

Build World New

W A S D move, Space jump, mouse/drag look. Left click or Q break, right click or E place, 1–8 or wheel pick a block, F fly, C/T third person, H help, P or Esc leave.

Main quest walkthrough

The order the story usually flows. Bigger reveals sit behind spoilers.

1 · Home and your first stamps

Enter Treehaus Home, then leave and follow the road.
Visit each family stop and finish its task to collect a stamp. Treeworks is a stacking game: drop each block right on top of the last.
Walk through tall grass to meet wild animals.

2 · Catch all 8 animals

Weaken a wild animal below about 10% HP, then throw a Berry Ball. Caught animals follow you. If your team is hurt, heal before the next battle.

3 · Lightsaber and ring float

The lightsaber lies hidden in the lower-left corner. Press V to spin-cut and B to throw. The ring float lets you walk into water. Pick it up with Space, drop it again on land.

Cut the bamboo grove 3 times to open a sandy path. The ring float is how you reach places across the pond.

4 · The boss

With all stamps and animals, the boss appears.

The boss is Zi Tong, waiting around tile 24,20. Beat and catch Zi Tong to earn the Golden Hat, Golden Boots and the Golden Lightsaber.

5 · The duel

Dong Xun challenges you to a lightsaber duel. Hold up the shield with V, jump his sweeps, and strike back. Halfway through he becomes enraged and attacks faster, so keep blocking.

6 · The ending

Princess Esther appears. Bring her the wine found at tile 2,19 to finish the story. The grove stays open afterwards so you can keep exploring.

Forms and gear

You can be a human, a Big Panda, a Transformer Panda or a Red Panda. Each form plays differently.

Human trainer

The starting form. Battles, catching, lightsaber, car, ring float.

Big Panda

Needs the Panda costume. Press P to grow into a giant panda that smashes treehouses (they rebuild after about 2 minutes). Press F for a red lightsaber.

Fly over the grove and trim the treehouse trees from the air with V/B. The Home tree drops the Panda costume. Inside Home, press P in costume to become a giant Big Panda, and F with the jetpack makes Home grow.

Red Panda New view

Small, quick and curious. Press T to see the grove through its eyes in first person. Only the Red Panda can ask the Architect for its own world.

As Big Panda, sleep in the big bed at Home and you wake up as the Red Panda.

Transformer Panda

Robot armour from the Matrix of Pandaship. Press T to switch between robot and Panda Car (or Panda Jet in space).

Secret dungeon

A mossy cave on the east side of the grove hides three trials.

Finding it

Walk to the mossy cave on the east edge, around tiles 27,14–27,15, and step in.

Treetop Sniper

Hit the targets from the treetops. Reward: the Rifle (G).

Silent Maze

Sneak through the maze without being seen. Reward: the Special Forces Helmet.

Jungle Run

Run, jump and blast your way through. Reward: the Jetpack (F).

Mega-blast

Hold G for 2 seconds to charge the rifle. The mega-blast can even knock down the boundary trees — the only way out of the grove.

Big Panda and the saga

After the main story, a bigger adventure begins.

The Panda costume

Use the jetpack and trim the treehouse trees from the air with V or B. The Home tree drops the Panda costume. Press P to become Big Panda and smash the grove. There is a bamboo duel too.

Into the stars

Give every animal a jetpack, then as Big Panda press F for the red lightsaber. Strike Zi Tong with V. A black orb drops. Take it to fly the X-Wing into space.

Matrix of Pandaship

Out in space, find the Matrix of Pandaship. It turns you into the Transformer Panda. Press T for the Panda Jet. Back in the grove, press P then T for the Panda Car.

Space, the sea and the pod race

X-Wing galaxy

Dogfight TIE fighters, boost between planets, jump to hyperspace with H. Press P to return to the grove.

Singapore sea

Fly to Earth to splash down near Singapore and dive in the Panda Submarine. Ping sonar with Space and use the boat's 3D printer to make a sardine.

Find every sea creature to earn Ocean Explorer.

Tatooine pod race

Three laps against eight racers at up to 500 km/h. R for a rematch, P to go back.

The Architect and Build World New

The edge of the grove is no longer the end.

Break through the edge

The boundary forest is too thick to pass. First, as Transformer Panda with the rifle, face the edge and hold G for 2 seconds: the mega-blast tears a gap in the boundary. Then, in any form — human, Big Panda, Transformer, Red Panda, on foot, flying or in a car — walk through the gap and keep going. You arrive in a white room full of screens, where the Architect is waiting.

Talk with Enter/Space or by clicking the dialogue box. R resets everything, P goes back to the grove.

Become an Architect

Arrive as the Red Panda and the conversation changes. At the end you get an extra choice: Y “Yes, make me an Architect”. Say yes and you enter your own Build World.

Build World

A big block world: hills, beaches, lakes, forests and snowy peaks, with a starter hut near where you spawn.
8 blocks to build with: Grass, Dirt, Stone, Sand, Timber, Leaves, Glass, Brick.
The grove animals live here too: the 8 wild animals, dogs, cats, capybaras, Big Panda and red pandas. Click one to pet it.
Fly with F, switch to third person with C, leave with P. Your world stays the same until you close the game.

Builder tips

Fly up before building tall towers. It is easier to place roofs from above.
Glass and Leaves make bright windows and gardens.
Lost? Type newworld in the cheat console for a fresh world.

Cheats

Two ways to cheat: type a code as your name on the start screen, or press ` (backtick) in the game to open the console, type a code and press Enter.

Secrets and tips

Grow your home

Inside Treehaus Home, press F with the jetpack to make the house grow.

Panda to Red Panda

Sleep in the big bed as Big Panda and you wake up as the Red Panda.

Breaking the boundary

Only Transformer Panda's 2-second rifle mega-blast can knock down the boundary. Once there is a gap, anyone can walk, fly or drive through it to meet the Architect.

Car tips

The car cuts grass as you drive, but if it rolls into water you jump out and it sinks. A new one appears on the road.

Tall grass

Wild animals hide in tall grass. Stick to the road when your team is tired.

Talk to everyone

Family members give hints. Dong Xun always knows your next step.
